Bell AH 1W Super Cobra, 162532, USMC.
1/72 Italeri, almost OOB, I replaced the three barrels of the gun with thin piano wire, finished in MM enamels with Future and MM FS30000 acrylic over kit decals, built previous to 2004, all my US service helicopters posted now until I build some more !
Nicely done, Allan...quite the impressive collection you've got there. And even though they're 72nd scale, having rotors must still make for some display constraints, huh?
Thanks Craig, yes they can get a bit tangled at times.
Very nice collection of whirly birds - and nice Cobra!
Thanks Greg.
Thats a lot of choppers . I had a small collection years ago. All gone now. Well done.
Thanks Anthony, you should start a new collection !
Wow! That's a LOT of Helluva-coptors! And beautifully done, too Allan! I really like the Cobra. I wish the Army had adopted the same type as the Marines did. The AH 64 is superior, but both types would be welcome on the battlefield!
Thanks Jeffry, I'm sure you can never have too many to fight the enemy !
Allan, time for a Lakota!
Me, I want an H-19 in 48th. A couple of them! And a better Huey in several varieties. And some Jet Rangers.
Thanks Bernard, all in 1/48 ? and what is a Lakota ?
Beautiful Cobra!
Thanks Robert.
Great work, Allan.
Thanks George.
That's a cool build Allan! Nice
Collection as well!
Thanks Richard.
Great build, AWESOME collection! ?
Thanks Roberto.
Great build of the Super Cobra. And a wonderful collection of helicopters you have too. I got a special intrest in these whirly-birds and love to build some as well in 1:72.
Thanks Ferry, I look forward to seeing some of yours in my scale.
