2017 IPMS Sweden Nationals (part 1)
Just got back home from a day at the Swedish IPMS Nationals. This year the Swedish national contest is hosted by the local exhibition 08-Open organized by the Stockholm branch. It is also much more than just a contest, there is a good share of local and international dealers and special exhibitions. These included an entire competition class of new Airfix kits, a display celebrating the 100 years of Finland’s independence, and another devoted to sci-fi.
I had initially been thinking about bringing home just a few photos, but in the end got so engaged by the breadth and quality of the models as to come home with enough pictures to fill a 3-part collection. So here it is. Enjoy!

That Sci-fi stuff is fascinating, but these ships look impressive too. I almost feel the passion and effort spent on these kits. Great show!
