Messerschmitt Bf-109 G-6 (Italeri 1:72)
I would like to show you my earlier made model. The kit are from Italeri, i built from the box. I did not use accesories, but i made seatbelts from masking tape and leadwire.I used Gunze and AK colors the painting, and decals are from the kit.

Great paintwork, Csupor. Mottling is difficult to get right in 1/72.
Thank you, John! 🙂
Nicely finished, sir...BUT - aren't those gear legs extending forward way too far (or are these old eyes playing tricks on me again?). 🙁
Craig, you are correct. This is a lovely Gustav but the angle of the legs is slightly too far forward. This isn't your mistake, it seems to be a problem with this Italeri kit. You have the outward splay of the legs perfectly but they need to be more upright to capture the characteristic delicate, narrow 'toe out' look of the 109. In a strange way the Italeri 109 captures the almost exact forward cant of the FW190 that manufacturers and modellers often find difficult to get (although the butcher bird is an inward slant).
It's beautifully built and painted; fantastic work in 1/72 - with the legs a little more upright she'd be near perfect!
Yeah...I thought as much, David - I don't think even the FW-190's gear is THAT far cantered forward, though. Seems like it'd be a fairly easy fix for the Italeri kit, however.
Beautiful paint and finish work on this. I'm glad to see someone else who builds in 1/72 - seems there aren't as many of us smaller-subject modelers as the larger scale - at least in aircraft!
Agreed, Greg - the finish is lovely and very realistic; especially in this scale!
Great model with a fantastic finish! Well done, Bela!
Gentlemen, thank you very mutch! Craig, you're right, i will fix the bug. 🙂
Very good finish on this little beauty.
Nice 109 but the landing gear is detracting it a little. Nice paintwork and overall appearance though.
Cheers
