Yak 1, Brengun 1/72
Hello everyone.
This little fellow is ready for inspection. This is a short run model and needs a little more work, but in the end it gets a solid model.
The aircraft was operated by Lydia Litvyak.
The photos are poor quality, so I apologize to everyone.
All the best,
Mladen.
1/72nd is, to me, an art in itself...unless they're BIG airplanes, I can't/don't/won't do 'em - 🙁
Even with the picture limitations, it is a good-looking build! Well done!
really nice job for such a small scale. 1/72 kills me so I avoid at times unless plane is really big for real. Nice subject matter also!
A great build, photos are fine.
Looks good Mladen, well done.
I love 1/72nd scale, because that's what I did mostly when I started, but since then I've settled on 1/48th for aircraft and 1/35th for armoured vehicles.
Your Yak looks great. Those of us here in the US don't regularly see many of these. They were good planes and deserve recognition. Models like yours, Mladen give honour to those who fought and died in these planes.
Well done!
A very neat build, and I've seen a lot worse photographs than those.
