The Northern Model Show. Part 1
Hi folks, over the weekend I attended the North of England and Scotland model exhibition on Sunday the 3rd of June.
The event took place at North Shields sports centre and attracted modellers from John o`Groats down to Sheffield. I did my best over the course of the day to promote the imodeler brand!
I have about 200 photos to upload over the next couple of days, so I'll split the article into four parts. I couldn't get pictures of everything there so I took photos of the models that stood out in terms of build quality and subject matter.
I'll save the competition results for part four to keep everyone in suspense. 🙂
Part 1 is aviation!
They are all of varying scales, feel free to ask any questions.
Good Stuff..! It just reinforces the reason I don't enter shows/contests - what talent!
That B-36 is maybe the nicest rendition of that Monogram kit I've seen. The Hasegawa B-47s were a triumph of determination over material.
Thanks for posting, Richard. An interesting selection.
Very nice. I guess you could tell this was an English affair by the plethora of Spits, Harriers, and Tornados, but hey - where were the Phantoms? Only 2 I saw were in US markings! Come on GB - a little love to your lost colony?!
Great work on display there!
Fine work! I really like that Southampton flying boat. Thanks for sharing, Richard.
great models, thanks for sharing
Hello Richard,
Thanks for posting. Always interesting to see what is on the tables "worldwide".
Regards, Dirk/The Netherlands.
