Hollywood comes to iModeler
As a New Year begins, I thought it'd be a good marker to remind iModelers of the ‘iModeler at the Movies' Group Build. The response to this has been staggering; 87 members, 66 started projects, at least 52 Movies, and a massive range of subjects.
If any of our newer members would like to join, please feel free to sign up - the group builds are a great way to start posting and support the community. Here are the Movies members have started threads on already.
I'll shut up and let the pictures do the talking (pun intended)...

Phew...
A huge thanks to everyone who has supported the Group, and I'm really looking forward to seeing more of these builds come to life through the year (and discovering new movies to watch).
David.
Creo que ha sido buena idea modelar sobre películas.
It's going to be an AWESOME year David! @dirtylittlefokker
That's quite a list of movies! It's an interesting Group Build.
Hey David. Haven't forgotten about my Spirit of St. Louis build. I will get back to it in the near future and complete it.
OMG, so many movies! It will be epic!
Hey, Dmitri! Hope you liked the ‘Seven Men’ poster. Great to hear from you again, and thanks for checking in!
@dirtylittlefokker Yes, David, poster in Czech language is really good! I can even read it a little.
Wow great list of movies.
It'll take me awhile to get stuff organised, but I've always been a HUGE fan of the "Tora" Zeros and would love the challenge of trying to build one in 1/48. Also would love the challenge of building the Corsairs in Baa Baa Black Sheep, as well as the L-5 Stinson they used in that show, too.
Tackling a "Spinner" from the movie "Blade Runner" would be really cool, too.
