Marcin Pacyna – Introduction

January 6, 2019 · in Photo Collections · 17 · 2K

Hello!

In this first article I would like to introduce myself, tell where I come from and why i started my interest in scale modeling. I come from small city Wieluń in central Poland. My city can be told where Second World War has begun. It was terrible for people who were yet sleeping at 4:40 in the morning to suffer from bombing of Wieluń. But you can read more about this at wikipedia and other source if information.

I started scale modeling from about September 2018 and still making models. My first model was polish destroyer ORP Błyskawica which survived war and is now museum in Gdynia. I just painted that with brushes and with paints from the kit and maybe couple more paints which I bought on the internet. My models don't have too much weathering but I try to add something new to my current model which I really enjoy to make and paint. I don't hurry with it, take time and that's the way it should be made. It is very relaxing hobby. I can see the progress and from nothing something is build.

That's it from me now, take a look at pictures and I wish you all best in new year 2019. Enjoy to make your models as I do. Martin from Poland.
