70th International Toy Fair Nuremberg 2019 – a random selection
Hello to you all.
I've just returned from a multiday visit to the International Toyfair in Nuremberg. This year it was the 70th edition of this major event.
While working as a official press photographer for a die-cast modelcar magazine I had the opportunity to visit most of the plastic scalemodel manufacturers who took part.
I know there is a lot circulating allready on the www but I think it's nice to share this with you all.
Just a random selection. If you have questions about the items let me know.
Enjoy the pics.
Cheers, Ferry
Many interesting items, but that 1/200 Trumpeter Titanic is humongous! I had to check - 1.35 meter in length.
Yes it's very impressive, and very nice details too.
Thank you for these pictures. Great variation!
Not a lot of models that pick my interest, but interesting none-the-less. Thanks for the photos.
Thanks for sharing these, Ferry. That Zvezda Yak-130 is on my “buy” list.
It's a lovely new kit John so I'm looking forward to your future build report.
Enjoyed the pics Ferry, thanks for sharing.
My pleasure Tom.
Hello Ferry,
Thanks for all the effort you did put into this all.
Very much appreciated.
Regards, Dirk
My pleasure Dirk. And now you also know why I was not attending Eeklo. See you in Goes end of the month.
Quite the eclectic display of variations. I especially like that cut-away Liberator.
Yes that's a big one in 1:32 scale. One of the new kits from HobbyBoss. They do a "D" and a "J" version with full interior and PE parts.
Nice! That B-18 looks interesting.
What I am seeing is a lot of diversity. Lots of different subject matter and interests. Hopefully that is a indicator of the hobby and its health.
Yes, the many represetatives of the modelling companies I spoke were all very positive on the market. It seems a renaissance is going on at the moment with a lot of former scale modellers now 45 years of age and over, returning to the hobby.
Thanks for sharing, Ferry.
The manufacturer of the rallye cars is Beemax, I suppose?
My pleasure Johannes. The rally cars you mention are the ones in the first picture, right? They are from Italeri in 1/24 scale.
1/200 Titanic, Holy Monster Batman!
WoW! Those look great ... especially that Titanic!
I hate it when there's 250 channels and nuthin' on.
Thanks for posting.
