1985 Pontiac Fiero (Targa Mod)

April 8, 2019 · in Automotive · · 5 · 1.9K

As requested, I have complied a series of photos of my 1:25 scale kit of the 1985 Fiero GT. I have built several of this kit in the past, but all have gone astray somewhere, this is my latest rendition of my favourite car, as I had an '85 Fiero SE 2M6.
I modified the kit as follows:

  1. Tires from a Firebird kit.
  2. Wheels from a Corvette Stingray III
  3. Cut away sunroof section to create a Targa Look.
The roofline air scoop was provided with the kit.

  1. Nice! It has that wedge design, something like the TR7.

  2. Nice. I did take my '84 to one midwest show in Wisconsin Dells. There were several convertible conversions and one speedster conversion. There were two chopped cars as well done by someone around here. I really did like the 2.8 in the 88 nut it seemed to me the best swap was the supercharged six out of the Bonneville. Looked like it belonged there. I do think blue was one of the rarest coloers on a Fiero which is too bad because they look so good in that color!

  3. I always thought the Yellow '88 Formulas with the 2.8 V6s were the rarest, next to white T-top '88 GTs.

  4. Nice job, my friend...I like it.
