F-20 Tigershark (Hasegawa 1/72)
F-20 was last and non-production modification of a famous F-5 fighter. It's a 1/72 Hasegawa kit, mainly OOB build excluding custom gun barrels, gun sight and seat belts. Painting scheme is the "what if" based on a late darker colors of the prototypes.
I'm experimenting with black basing and marbling technique, and this is my second experiment. I really like it, but it needs practicing – shapes of the mottles, colors, density, etc. It's a good alternative to pre-shading. You can see intermediate result on the last two photos.

I remember seeing Chuck Yeager fly this at Palmdale back in 1983, ery col airplane and you have caught it well.
