M3A3 French Army
My first armour post on I-Modeller; the 1:72 M3A3 Stuart from S-Model, using Braille-Scale decals for a vehicle from the French army that landed in Southern France in August 1944.
The S-Model kit is actually a quick-build kit, albeit a very detailed one, with 2 sets of sprues in the box and some extra etch. I therefore mainly focused of the extra details, the paint and weathering , and the figure. The latter is a slightly modified 3D printed figure from ReedOak and is also available in several other scales.
Enjoy the pics!

Very nice build, given the small size 1:72! Kudos!
Totally agree with Michel...great work !
The Stuart is small even in 35th scale!, Peter, in 72nd you captured it's unique profile and details . The images are excellent and until you mentioned it was 72nd scale, it looks every bit as if it's 35th scale on the pages. Well done!
Nice work on the model and the base, too!
Excellent for 1/72! Nicely done.
🙂 … Greetings … 🙂 :
A well presented job in all Peter. It could be small … but it say's a lot , well done.
Thanks everyone for the kind comments 🙂
