1/32 Hasegawa-Montex Focke Wulf Fw-190A-4

November 26, 2019 · in Aviation · 5 · 1.7K

This is 1/32 Focke Wulf Fw-190A-4 with the markings of 1/JG54 Eastern Front in spring 1943.

I have used 1/32 Hasegawa’s A-5 as base kit and Montex Fw 190A-4 conversion set for backdating.

Other addings are

-AML seat and seat belts

-MDC Luftwaffe dials decals

-Quickboost exhaust stacks

-Quickboost Gun Barrels

Paints are Gunze and Tamiya acrylics. (RLM75/White/RLM76)

All decals are from the kit and my spare box except for customized chevron figure decal on the fuselage

Note the under fuselage mounted (probably in the field) ETC 501 bomb rack

Happy Modelling

  1. Merhaba! Great build as usual Tolga

  2. That Montex conversion works really nice. I was always surprised Hasegawa didn't do an A-3/4, since it would have involved a whole four parts (fuselage halves and the inset piece on the vertical fin for a -3 or a -4).

This is really nice and that is a very distinctive paint scheme. Great work as usual.

    • Thanks Tom.
Completely agree with you about Hasegawa s laziness .
My next Montex combination will be an Aa3 ( means export version of A3) with Turkish Air Force markings.

  3. Another beauty Tolfa! Love the scheme on this one - very unusual.
