P-39N
Hey, All
1/48, Eduard, P-39N. Built completely OOB with added antennas. I encountered no problems with this build and thoroughly enjoyed this kit. Painted with Mr.Colors paints. Lightly weathered with oils for wash and dry-brushing.
KEEP IT FUN!
Another awesome build! Nice work.
Thanks, Robert!
You are on a roll tonight ! Another great looking model...These P-39's look great with the tail section painted in white. So do the "razorback" P-47's and the P-40's... They all just look so cool like this. It's a great color scheme from the Pacific Theater. I built up a P-47 with markings for Col. Kearby, and the leading edges of the wings on mine were also white if I recall correctly. It varied from unit to unit, and how much time was available for painting...Critical maintenance took priority over paint work.
Thanks for sharing it with us. This one reminds me of Bill Shomo's plane "Snooks II"... He was also from PA.
"liked"
Thanks, as always, Louis!
Fine looking P-39
Thanks!
Very well done P-39.
thanks, Dale
You just pushed me over the fence and will plan a P-39 for the soon to be New Year. The one WWII P-series fighters missing on the shelf is the Airacobra, will finally take care of that. Yours is quite a motivator.
Just trying to help...LOL
Another nicely done model. Love the white tails on these birds.
Thanks, one more time! Yeah, that was a nice scheme and relatively easy to paint.
nicely done...and great scheme
Thanks, Bob
Very nice work. I am really a lover of P-39s.
Thank you, Roberto. That was my first P-39 but not my last.
Great build Gary. Like your choice of markings with the white tail. Nice photos too.
Thanks, Tony
P-39's, P-40's whats' not to like. That Eduard kit is really nice and you've done a nice job on her. I say build some more.
Thanks, Tom. I did like this Eduard kit enough that I have the double 'Bella" kit now on the stack...probably do those in Russian markings. Unless I get an unplanned build (wink, wink) thrown at me, maybe some time in 2020...LOL
Hmmmm... You just never know what lies around the corner. 🙂
?
I'm with Chuck on this one - inspirational - and hard on the credit card! An absolute beauty!
Thanks, Paul! Oh you'd just buy something different...lol
