1/48 Northrop Grumman E-2D “Delta One”
This is a 1/48 Northrop Grumman E-2D built as the prototype aircraft designated as Delta One. I used the 1/48 Kinetic E-2C 2000 and converted it to the E-2D. It was made for a wonderful lady who has worked on the E-2 program for many years. It was presented to her as a thank you. It was detailed with photo etch accessories and home made decals to represent the aircraft.
Check out the build from start to finish in the build log section https://davidsscalemodels.com/build-log/1-48-northrop-grumman-e-2d-conversion/

Sweet! I did 3 tours in VAW squadrons VAW 124, 120, and 115. All Group 0 E-2Cs, great build man! I still need to build one from when I was a PC in VAW 124

Nice that you got a photo of your ‘bird’ with your name on it, I had shots, but I sent them for processing while still in the Med. they some how were lost.

I will thanks! She was 161552, during Desert Storm she had nose art. I was in 120 by then.

Top build. I would have gone insane sorting all that detail on all those prop blades.
