Here is my progress on the 1/48 Tamiya P-38G . Wonderful kit and fall together. I bout the xtradecals to use on the kit. Model painted with the AK real colors. Next gloss coat and decals 🙂

Fantastic look at some of the finer details (great job in the 'pit) of this kit. The kit certainly looks like it needs nothing!
Looking good so far, I'm curious to see the decal selection...

This is a great looking build ! The work on the cockpit is amazing. The paint work elsewhere looks flawlessly smooth.
I have two of these in "queue" on the work bench. I picked up this set of Xtra-decals and will build both Lamphier's "Phoebe" and the plane that Barber flew that day named "Miss Virginia" P-38's ... as part of the "Yamamoto / Operation Vengeance" build that is underway.
Like Andrew mentioned, I too am curious to see which plane you will be doing. Eventually I plan on building "Pudgy" and the P-38 from the Orlando training unit #923 using these decals and the older Hasegawa kits.
