On this day, 75 years ago…..
75 years ago, "Victory in Europe" was celebrated. Also known as "VE Day," or just "V-Day," it was the mark of the end of WWII in Europe.
Due to COVID-19, this year's Arsenal of Democracy Flyover in the United States has been postponed till later in the year.
This is the video Commemorative Air Force HQ produced in 2010 to mark the 70th Anniversary of "VE Day."
Lest we forget...

Here is another one, a lot longer. Almost an hour and a half long, streamed live earlier today.

These are great James ! @jamesb I happen to see the 'Diver during a short length of the video...
Thanks for remembering what this generation did for the World. Lest we forget. I always say that Freedom is not Free. If anyone thinks so, I wholeheartedly encourage them to go take a visit at any of our Veterans Administration hospitals and clinics.

Thanks @jamesb for sharing this. In my town, there is the largest WWI US memorial holding a ceremony every year on the 11th of November. I hope this one will be able to take place in 2020.
I will never forget that the US sent her sons and daughters into harms way twice in the past to save my country, Belgium, from tyranny. For that, we will always be grateful, especially to those that paid the ultimate price.
Stay healthy my friend!
