Sepecat Jaguar GR1 A 1/48 Airfix

May 1, 2020 · in Aviation · · 16 · 4.1K

The SEPECAT is a Anglo-French attack aircraft originally used by the British Royal Air Force and the French Air Force in the close air support and nuclear strike role. It is still in service in upgraded form with the Indian Air Force.

This time is not good for health and meetings with other modelers, but good time for our hobby.
Another old kit, that i build this year. Old Airfix kit is not the best, but with some help from Eduard(PE parts) result not bad. I use colors from Ak- Real Color.

  1. This one shines in all the right places. Stunning build! The subtle weathering and camouflage really stands out. Well done.

  2. Beautifully done !

  3. I did not know that planes mounted rockets on the upper wing surface. That's a neat feature. And amazing build! I like is alot.

  4. Your Jaguar is a real stunner Josef, one of the best I recall seeing

  5. An excellent build Josef! Great detailing, painting and weathering. The Jaguar was (is!) a real workhorse that performed better than expectations. A trully magnificent plane and your model is representing it in a most accurate way.
    All the best!

  6. Very nice Jaguar, Josef. The Airfix kit still stands up well against the Kitty Hawk kit, especially for shape accuracy. You have done an outstanding job to have detailed the older kit so well.

  7. Awesome-looking Jaguar!

  8. Very nice! The painting is superb. The photos are great as well.

  9. Fantastic looking Jag! I really like the Jag - have built 1 and have a few more to go (more than most in my stash...). Great work!
