The “Topaz” an 85 ft. 1960’s Yacht
My Covid 19 project (everyone has one) was to convert an old Lindberg Coastal Patrol Boat (USCG) into something a little different. I had already done the original version (50’s), and a PG Patrol Motor Gunboat (70’s) , and had a spare kit to play with, and some Evergreen. I guess you could consider it a “wiffie”, but I tried to keep it believable. It was a lot of fun as it went together section by section, with each having it own problems and solutions.

Hey Joe !!! This is another great collection to add to your ever growing fleet. You did a fine job with the conversion. I know a lot of extra work went into this one, and it really shines. Stay safe my friend, and keep on building.

All built on the same hullform. Really like the military versions-as a retired professional yachtsman the civilian build looks a bit odd, but all nicely done. How many inches long are models?

It looks a bit odd” to me also, but I needed a bar and dancefloor….lol The hulls measure about 14 in..
