1/48 Tamiya Volkswagen type82e staff car
Another wonderful and fun Tamiya build. Painted with Tamiya paints. Wethered with oils 🙂

Hey Brian:: Very nice: Our daughter Marcia use to own a real one, and I got to ride in it several times...what a wonderful little car that was and your model sure brings back some good memories. Thanks for posting it as I'm going to send it to our daughter.

I'm old enough to have seen a "divided rear window" bug, back when I was a kid and they first came here.
Nice work on this one.
Good looking "Bug"!
🙂 ... Greetings ... 🙂 :
Very nice building Brian, just seeing this brought a smile to my face.
Nice subtle weathering, thanks for sharing these pictures.
Lovely build, Brian!
Excellent job on the nice Tamiya kit!
My grandfather owned the civilian model, carrying me slowly round the neighborhood on the back rack, me happily grabbing it!
Those were the days!
Always great to see a 1/48 kit on 4 wheels (or more for that matter)
I have some Heller 1/43 cars for my hangar. A smidge big, but close enough. I guess I'll have to add a Beetle to the lineup!
Good looking Bug Brian, it was a fun car to drive, but during the winter months that heater was worthless. Really like the the subtle weathering you did on her.
