de Havilland DH 112 FAW 53 Sea Venom, WZ940, 809, Ramjets aerobatic team, VC724 Sqn RAN, HMAS Albatross NSW 1963.
1/72 Dragon, finished for the de Havilland 100 GB, more pic's and details there, a few moifications and additions, finished in a variety of enamels and decals with Pledge over all then with some Xtra flat mixed in.
Very high standard of finish. Great to see another Aussie airframe.
Thank you Haslam.
That's a great looking Venom, Allan.
What material did you use for those antenna wires?
Thank you John, 0.2 mm I think stainless, from my local model railway shop.
Really great result, Allan, you must be very pleased after all that hard work, definitely liked.
Thanks George, yes came up OK in the end.
Nicely done Allan, another RAN subject for the display case.
Thank you Ray, my first RAN aero !
Allan, A very good looking build. I really like the overall paint scheme. I had to take another look when I realized it was 1/72 scale.
Thank you Terry, those tip tanks set it off, 1/72 for me !
Very clean build, wow! I really like your Sea Venom, looks like a stingray
Thanks Andreas.
Another great model from the @kalamazoo production line, Allan!
Your jobs are precise, clean with great attetion to detail and look excellent.
Such is the case here!
Well done!
Thank you Spiros.
Roo and Ram jet!
Such a nice build Allan (@kalamazoo), the details and paintjob you are able to get into 1/72 always amazes me.
Well done!
Thank you Erik.
Great looking build Allan
Thanks Anthony.
That’s really nice, Allan. Fine job on what looks like a nice kit. I remember building a Frog Sea Venom as a kid and it was pretty crude. The Sea Venom is my favorite member of the Vampire/Venom family. I’d love a decent one in 1/48 to park next to my Airfix Sea Vixen. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks John, the kit has some nice internal detail as well !

Great looking Venom Allan! Nice addition to the DH GB.
The kit looks amazing and you can't beat that price.
For some reason, the Venom always reminded me of Snoopy from the Peanuts cartoon.

Thanks George, it's nice to get a bargain, I don't see the snoopy connection, except maybe in the radome !
another pristine Allan build! Looks fantastic.
Thank you Greg.
A superb build Allan! Looks great!
Thank you Robert.
