Revell 1/72 DGzRS Arkona

My Revell 1/72 DGzRS Arkona SAR vessel.

I have done some minor mods as per photos of the actual vessel such as leaving the flag post off the top of the rear metal structure, moving the flag ropes as well as their attachment position on the main mast.

Might have to do a small clean up of the water line around the stern of the vessel.

Paints used are Hlafords undercoat white, Halfords red primer and Halfords Toyota Chilli Red (all rattle cans), Vallejo Model Color deep green, Vallejo Model Color Vermillion and several other small amounts of Vallejo paints. All the Vallejo paints are brush painted on.

I did find that the SAR side decal on one side was slightly smaller than the other one.

Also the decal call out wants you to place white writing on a white painted background.

There is room for more scratch building as there is no detail in the main cabin - you can do things such as curtains on the windows and cabin walls, etc
