Revell 1/72 FW 200 C-8 Condor
Some pics of an old build. Finished with Model Master paints and 3m tape for the camo. I used a masking set for the glass, although I don't remember the brand. (probably Eduard)
I had to get creative with the radar antennae since the kit parts were broken. I referenced photos and did some light weathering. It was photographed in natural sunlight so the details and shadows are very sharp.
Roberto's article gave me the nudge.
That's a superb Condor, Phil, with beautiful details all around!
Thanks Spiros !
Great build, Phil.
The splinter camoflouge looks really great.
Thanks George. That fine edged 3M tape makes a difference.
Quite the beast! Magnifique!
Thanks Ross ! Glad you like it.
Very nice ! Was this the older Revell issue or the newer one ? Not sure they are different but your work looks amazing.
Love the Condor.
It was one of the newer kits with a horde of decals---worth every penny !
Nice job on the build, it's a great looking Condor.
Thanks Bob !
Looks great' nice to see it! Glad you got the nudge.
Thanks Robert. It does take a nudge these days.
Well done Phil, nicely detailed, looks good.
Thanks Allan. Glad you like it.
Very nicely done.
Thanks Haslam !
Phil this build is something to be really proud about. A tight crisp build with some excellent work on the cockpit glazing and the turrets. With some sharp painting. It all comes together to bring out the best in this kit. Looking forward to seeing your next modeling adventure.
Two thumbs up.
Thanks Stephen !
Beautiful build Phil, nice sharp lines indeed!
Could have been considered a 'triple-build' with those underwing mounted Fritz guided bombs 😉
Thanks George. The glide bombs were mini kits !
Looks good!
Thanks Greg !
