1/144 scale RMAF Sikorsky S-61A "Nuri"
Greetings to members,
Here is my latest build of the Royal Malaysian Airforce Sikorksy S-61a which is the longest serving helicopter in the air force which was scheduled to be retired due to increasing numbers of fatal air accidents. The model used was AFV Club 1/144 scale Seaking converted to the S-61 Sikorsky variant "Nuri". The model was fine very few seamline issues and fitting was great. The decal applied was custom made with RMAF roundel scheme while the paint code was combination of gunze olive drab and gunze Nato green with 50:50 ratio. Two variants are build which is the FM-1715 used during "Operation Gubir" 1976 during Malayan Communist Insurgency where the Sikorsky was shot down killing all of its crew. The second variant is the currently used scheme which is from Butterworth Airbase. Overall, it a great experience working on these model hope to build more 1/144 scale aircraft in the future.

Two amazing results, Mee wan, your usual excellency in building!
Thanks for the great, very informative video!
Excellent job on such a tiny scale.
Beautifully done, Mee.
Unbelievable that you achieved this result on a 1/144 scale.
Well done.
It's amazing to see such small models built up so nicely! Well done sir. Now if these companies putting out 1/144 kits like hot cakes I wish one of them would make a good B-17 kit. The vintage crown is good but I think it needs replacement.
