Excellent result, Richard @rbungay
Sharp looking pictures as well.
Excellent indeed, Richard!
Nice! As wonderful as the Matra V-12 sounded, the DFV was definitely the better engine.
Those were the days, tobacco advertising, French cars with French drivers...
Is this a new tool? I've built a couple of Tamiya's 1/20 F1 cars but I didn't know this was available. Great job on it!
Also, persons "of a certain age" will instantly recognize this car as Mirage from Transformers! (With certain liberties taken with the livery to shroud the tobacco connection.)

Hi Josh @jpatt1000, I don’t think Tamiya have reissued this kit, it’s probably the original from the 1980s.
A real beauty !
Hi Gents,
I am brand new to your site and calling in from South Africa. Although we get a good supply of models, spare and replacement parts are hard to come by. A few years ago I was gifted this Ligier kit as built by a three year old. Simply glued together out of the box and decals applied to raw plastic. As F1 and racing in general has been a big part of my life, a large portion of my models are 1:20 Tamiya F1 subjects. I have started stripping this model to rebuild and do a nice representation. Can anyone shed light on where I can obtain decals? By the way, your model looks excellent Richard! Regards,
Rory Wilson - Johannesburg South Africa

Thanks Don, appreciated!
Welcome to iModeler, @Rory, looking forward to seeing some your builds here.
Hi George,
Thanks for the welcome. I will post some of my F1 builds soon. Only thing is, my photography with my phone is probably worse than my model building!
