'Can't Play Outside, Today'
The theme of this vignette is that the little boy seen through the window, is sad. This is because, he cannot go out to play as he sees opposition fighters passing by, outside his window. It's a bit of a turmoil outside at the moment and playtime is a no-no.
A little unusual for you, Charles, but as believable as always, lovely action poses on those figures.
Thanks George. Unusual? Not really actually. I had been doing this type of scenario long before I started on the bigger, 1:24 scale trucks. But you hadn't seen too many builds that involved this type of theme. ๐
Another Charles masterpiece! Utterly realistic!
Thank you Spiros.
A little diorama but packed with so many details, Charles @tiking
Another quality piece.
Sad to say, but this diorama tells the life of so many children over the world, unfortunately.
So true John. Sad but true.
I noticed the "Nike Swoosh" on the shoes of the terrorist wearing the red t-shirt. Nice touch!
HeHe! ๐
For the longest time I thought your dioramas were just exceptionally well-made industrial scenes, Charles (@tiking), but you have proven again that you are also adept at including figures in dioramas whose movement and action tells the story. Well done, again.
Thank you George. I appreciate it. Glad you like it. I did military subject way before I transfered over to 1/24 scale industrial, truck scenarios, which was back in 2010. The biggest reason I went over to 1/24 scale is it is easier on the eyes. ๐
Your dioramas are so full of life and action, Charles. This one is really good, with the fighter surprised to see the kid staring out at them.
Big thank you, Tom. Glad you enjoyed this one too.
Poigant storytelling in styrene. I love the balance of simplicity and narrative in this piece.
My compliments sir.
Brian thank you for your response. Appreciate your uplifting comment.
