FAMO and Tank Transport Trailer and Panzerkampfwagen III Ausf. N
Autumn in Eastern front 1942, somewhere in Poland.
Diorama is created as a base for Tamiya 1/35 FAMO and SD.Ah.116 Tank Transport Trailer and Panzerkampfwagen III Ausf. N Sd.Kfz.141/2.
Figures are from Tamiya and ICM and tank's metal tracks are from Friulmodel.
Base of the diorama (30x70cm) is build from 18mm glulam board. Building walls are 3D printed with scratch build collapsed floors, window details, roof and rain pipes. Tile fences (lower terracotta colored) are build from handcrafted tiles made of Drawl modeling clay. Maple tree is also handmade, and partly used self made leaves. Fortunately diorama takes place in autumn, so only few leaves are left 😉
Rain covers and iron fences with tile poles are 3D printed. Street bricks are from Green Stuff Worlds paving bricks (I'd say there is quite a lot of those).
Painted with acrylics. Diorama was finished in year 2021, and took some 6 months to build, and it's my first diorama as an adult. Previous "diorama experiments" were with 70's Airfix 1/72 tank and base combos.
Hope you enjoy it, even though pictures are not the best grade.
That's an outstanding diorama. Just beautiful (@jp).
Amazing diorama, Jarmo! Awesome job all over!
This is a really superb diorama. Each element is to the same level of excellence - vehicles, figures, the base. Everything "tells a story" just as it should. This is very impressive.
Very impressive diorama, Jarmo @jp
It shows a lot of realism and is very dynamic.
Outstanding!
Thank you all for comments and kind words.
