Hawker Hurricane Mk IIC, Revell AG, 1/72
Revell˙s Hurricane Mk IIC in desert camo, finish could have been better, but there it is, i guess i˙ll have to make one more. Upper colors are Humbrol and underside is MM azure blue, i think it˙s better than Humbrol˙s. Built OOB except for the antenna of course. It˙s a very good and inexpensive kit, i would recommend it to any beginner, and that˙s it for this one, next will be Smer˙s reissue of Heller˙s Hurricane i guess, but not too soon.
Very nice paintjob, the subtle weathering is just right! Wish Airfix did a modern version of this plane.
Well, they are making new molds of their old kits, it is only a matter of time when there will be new Airfix Hurricane, this Revell is also pretty old now, although it has engraved panel lines and more details.
Lovely Hurricane! I always like desert schemes.
Well done - Hurricanes look good in desert garb!
Amazing result, Vedran! Hard to believe it is only 1/72!
🙂 ... Greetings ... 🙂 :
Well done Hurricane model Vedran.
Don't worry much about the camo paint job, the model looks fine as is.
Excellent result on this desert Hurricane, Vedran @gladnijura
Considering the tiny scale, you did an amazing job.
Really nice work, Vedran, and a great result.
Very nicely finished Hurricane.
Terrific job on this Hurricane, Vedran. (@gladnijura)
Nicely done Vedran.
Heck of a Hurricane, Vedran.
Neat plane, great scale!
Very nice indeed!👍
Nice job. I might catch flack from some people, but I a bigger fan of the Hurricane than I am of the Spitfire. I'm the same way with P-40s and P-51s, there all great but I'm more of a fan of the under dogs where the pilots skills had a lot more to do with the outcome. I your a 1/72 Hurricane fan check out the newer Airfix kit, lots of detail and not to crazy of a price.
Well, i am more of a fan of those planes in the shadow too, i have two more Hurricanes in my stash, both Heller, one being original, and the other is later Smer reissue with some different decals and some PE parts, getting new Airfix is possible, maybe Mk I this time.
