1/48 Hasegawa Pete
1/48 Hasegawa Mitsubishi F1M2 "Pete" Rekata Bay, Santa Isabel Island of the Soloman Islsnds. 1944. Weather beaten and eventually abandoned along with many Japanese types, parts of some of which can still be found there today, if you know where to find them.
Very well weathered.
Looks great, like the Pete a lot.
Nice work and thanks for sharing this. I’ve been tempted to get one of those for years.

A very decent and respectable work on this model, Paul!
Good modeling on a not much seen aircraft.

This is a fantastic looking model. I have a few of these in the stash and they have been working their way towards the top of the to build section. Having seen how nice yours looks has bumped them up a little higher from where they were.
Thanks for sharing this with us. I definitely clicked on several of the different “like” buttons.

I hope you get into yours. Let's get a few on this site. 🙂 What a great looking airplane.
The weathering looks quite realistic. @paulwoodyvanacker
Absolutely gorgeous!
Excellent allover, Paul @paulwoodyvanacker
Especially the weathering of this aircraft is beautifully done.
Looks great - nice weathering and paintwork. Well done!
You perfectly captured the worn and torn weathering effect that was so characteristics of japanese aircraft. Really outstanding work Paul.
