1/48 Gasoline Flakpanzer 38t

February 11, 2024 · in Armor · 5 · 258

Finished today. 1/48 Gasoline Flakpanzer 38(t) Ausf. L Gepard/Sd. Kfz 140. Caen, France June 1944 lasting till December 1944 when it took part in Operation Northwind (in the anti aircraft defence role) with the 17th SS Panzer Grenadier Division.
I will get new tracks at some stage, but for now, these will do. Or may use in a diorama and hide them with mud. 😊 Otherwise its a great kit. One of my favourite looking 38t chassis conversions. They sure got alot out of that chassis.

  1. The tracks look fine as they are, Paul, as does the rest of the model.

  2. Excellent model, Paul and I agree with our friend @chinesegeorge, no need to change the track, they look great!

  3. Great result, Paul @paulwoodyvanacker
Add me as well for the looks of the tracks.

  4. Wow - that's something I never knew existed before seeing it here. Really nice work and a very realistic result. You don't need to change a thing.

    • Thanks mate. Yes Gasoline are a French company that do some of the lesser known subjects. The afv's Dora Models. LOL.
Coming soon will be a 1/48 Jagdpanzer IV L/70 Vomag conversion. All you need is the chasis of any Tamiya Panzer IV type. Should look very unique also. 🙂
