Marauder Is Finally Here
My ICM 1/48 B-26 Marauder kit is finally here. It should have been delivered back on 16 April 2024 but the glorious USPS took 8 days to deliver it the last thirty miles. And as I gleefully accepted it from my postal carrier find a corner has been ripped open. gasp Luckily inspection proves the plastic bags are intact and nothing missing. Thank you ICM for a sturdy box and packaging.

True Details 48038 P-61B-C or B-26B-C late style wheel set
Eduard 49029 B-26 Marauder seatbelts
Eduard FE372 B-26 interior for the Revell kit
Quickboost B-26 Marauder machine gun barrels.
Quickboost B-26 Marauder Gun Packs.
Except for a masking set, I think I am set to start building.
For those wishing to lose their lives super detailing their new Marauder kit here is part of the USAAF training film on the 50 hour inspection. "Maisie" is a B-26C-5. And these videos really drives home how truly complex these airplanes were and yet the 22d in New Guinea managed to keep their short wing Marauders flying and fighting.

I hope it will be a fun build, I really liked their B-26K even with all my extra detail work. Who knows I might follow Chuck's plan to build two B-26 Marauders since I also have the Monogram kit.

Can't wait to see the start and finish of this project. The B-26 has always been a favorite of mine.
