45 - 1/72 Italeri MB 339A P.A.N.

July 10, 2024 · in Aviation · · 20 · 104

My next build was one for the 100 Years of Aeronautica Militare (the Italian Air Force) and I decided to do one of the ponies. It is an old mould I really wish somoene would bring the MB339 out in an updated moulding, but it went together well - I decided to try some scribing and described it. My scribing skills are terrible so it was good practice.

I like to have my decorated and special scheme airplanes displayed in flight so I painted up a figure and got him in there.

A relatively simple build so not long and it was in primer and paint and onto the decals.

And then... Whoosh it was done.

To me the scribing, just like all the other work done, turned out great.

  7. Looks great! A little elbow grease can make these older molds come to life, as you demonstrated here.
