A7-55 the only one, built at the Cockatoo Island Naval Dockyard in 1931 under the supervision of Lawrence Wackett, it was used to locate the missing Antarctic explorer Lincoln Ellsworth in 1936 from onboard the Royal Research Ship, Discovery 2.
