Sikorsky S-51
On this occasion I wanted to show you something that I built quickly, without great details. It's the Sikorsky S-51 from Beaver Corporation, a brand I didn't know existed. The scale is 1/48. The kit has generally correct dimensions, and the detailing is basic. Luckily he brings a small photo-etching plate. I only detailed the engine ventilation and some parts of the cabin. For the painting stage I chose the first helicopter that equipped the Argentine Naval Prefecture, during the 1950s. At that time it was called the Maritime Naval Prefecture. A quick kit to build and interesting for its rarity.
