Airfix 1/144 RRS Discovery.

My first ship build since I was about 12 and my first tall Ship build.
One I have wanted to build for many years now.

Painted with.
Tamiya Nato Black, Rubber Black, Semi-Gloss Black, Buff, Dark Yellow and Clear Orange.
Colourcoats Buff
Alclad Copper.
Xtreme Metals Brass.
Mr. Hobby Off-White.
Wood effects with Daler & Rowney Burnt Umber and Burnt Sienna.

Finished with Windsor & Newton Galeria Matt Varnish and Mr. Color GX100 Super Clear Gloss.
Anchor Chain and rigging from Hobbycraft.
Blue Ensign from BECC.

      To elaborate, the deck was sprayed Buff and then Burnt Umber streaked over the surface with a brush moistened in White Spirit.
      The Deckhouses and masts were Dark Yellow with Burnt Sienna streaked then sprayed with thinned Clear Orange.
      Hope that helps.
