Love it
Thanks very much.
Alistair, she is lovely. I've always enjoyed seeing tall ship models and admire anyone who can do the standing rigging so precisely. Beautiful
Many Thanks.
That is very kind of you.
Very attractive model, excellent work on it. Thanks for the list of paints you used, I’m going to take note of them for possible future use.
Thanks so much.
To elaborate, the deck was sprayed Buff and then Burnt Umber streaked over the surface with a brush moistened in White Spirit.
The Deckhouses and masts were Dark Yellow with Burnt Sienna streaked then sprayed with thinned Clear Orange.
Hope that helps.
Cheers,
Alistair
Excellent ship, Alistair!
Congratulations!
Many Thanks Spiros
Fantastic job on this classic Airfix Alistair.
Thanks very much.
It's about time Airfix re-released this one.
That's a wonderful result, Alistair @alistairfgauld
Thanks so much
Well done, Alistair! That’s a real oldie.
Thanks very much.
This was the 1988 reissue in black plastic.
Went together really nicely though.
