486 Bomb Group 384 Squadron out of Sudbury. This aircraft survived the war to be broken up in Kingman AZ. After waiting a few months finally got some green grass and an overcast day. Hope you like.

That is way too good! I used to say “museum quality” when I saw a build like this, but recently saw some builds in a museum and this puts them all to shame. Masterpiece.

Yeah. H-K's big B-17 is really impressive any way you look at it, and what you did with it is really impressive. Multi-hue NMF is really outstanding.
One thing I found on mine that made things easier(both 1/32 and 1/48) was to attach the left and right nose pieces to their respective fuselage halves before proceeding. Got the external fit right and all went easier than following the instructions.
Thanks Tom, I wish I had did that with the nose. I took about 20 hours painting this. But that's the part I like. I am fighting the urge too get the F model.
