F-86 Sabre, 1/48, Argentine Air Force

March 22, 2025 · in Aviation · · 11 · 173

New project completed.

This time it's an sabre of the Air Force, a kit that I had on hold for a long time.

The F-86 was in service in the FAA between 1960 and 1986. First without paint scheme, with the natural bare metal. From the 1970s they were painted with a tricolor scheme: gray, light brown and dark green, with white under surfaces.

The kit used is the Hasegawa F-86F-40, 1/48 scale, the correct model for the Argentine version. The decals are from Aerocalcas, a local brand.

The painting is made with Vallejo acrylics and oils.

I hope you like it, and any advice is welcome. Greetings to all.
