Building 6 1/32 scale Harriers for the USMC Blacksheep Squadron
Announcing my biggest model project to date. I have been asked to build 6 AV8B II Plus Harriers to celebrate the Blacksheep Squadron. I am completely honored to build this beautiful aircraft (times six) for such an historic squadron.
I will be using the Trumpeter 1/32 scale AV8 II Harrier Plus kits for this build. The aircraft will be built as they flew in Iraqi Freedom, with all accurate custom decals, weathering and scratch built details.
The models will be unveiled at a ceremony honoring the Blacksheeps this summer with one of the models going to Pappy Boyington's son. What an honor!
