PANZER I AUSF A Scratch Built
This is the panzer one built from scratch out of mainly wood and a little bit of cardboard for the tracks. It's around 1 foot in length or less than half a foot wide. The panzer I was designed in 1932-1934. Was produced in 1934 and variants continued to operate till the end of the war in 1945. The manufacturers were, Manufacturer
Henschel, MAN, Krupp, Daimler. Its Masse was about 5.4 tons. So it was a light Tank. This version seen here is armed with two MG 13 machine guns 7.62mm. The engine was the Krupp M 305 four-cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine. Its armour was 7 to 13 mm max. It was already outclassed by many foreign tanks. Because it was outclassed, later versions of the panzer I chassis were converted to tank destroyers & other variant types. Between 1934 and the mid-1940s, several variants of the Panzer I were designed, especially during the later years of its combat history. The panzer I so combat with the Chinese with the Spanish Civil War. When the Germans invaded Poland, France, used in North Africa, Operation Barbarossa invasion of the Soviet Union
