Bf-109G-6 Eduard Winter Camo 1/48
Well this is my first post here and hopefully not the last . This is the Eduard kit ( the old one with the mistakes ) . Very nice and easy to build . I used the hairspray technique and varius brushes to weather the camo .
Nice looking 109 Dionyssis, you've obviously mastered this technique. Welcome to iModeler, I'm sure you will enjoy it.
Welcome onboard, Dionyssis. Very convincing work on that winter camo. I never dared to hairspray a model, but it seems that it definitely is a technique to master. Does it add any thickness to the paint layers, and is there anything else to think of?
Welcome, Dionysius. Nice weathering on this one.
Looks great !
Good to have you with us, my friend...I very much like what you've done there. Looks sorta like a cross between winter camo and heavy weathering. Nice work, sir.
This may be your first showing here, but you obviously are very accomplished! Great job, Dionysius! Excellent weathering.
Welcome!
Excellent paint job!
The paintwork is great.
Nice job all round. Haven't tried the hairspray technique yet but your '109 looks really great: might even give me a push to try it. Thanks for posting.
BEAUTIFUL !
Welcome! That's a great looking post for a start! Lovely 109.
Thanks everyone ! I'm glad you like it ! The hairspray technique is nixce as long as you don't overdo it . I decanted the hairspray and then i used the airbrush to spray a very thin layer. I adds a thin layer to the paint but you can sand it to make it more smooth
