Revell (1/144th ?) Ekranoplan A-90 Orljonok
There are a few weird models on my shelves, but this is one of the strangest. I couldn't find a scale on the instruction sheet, but it looks at home on my "1/144th & other" shelf, next to the other Soviet stuff. Not really a boat, not really a plane, but a huge people mover.
The kit was a pleasure to build (and fun to research). No interior, but I was impressed with the over-all quality. OOP but if you're lucky, you might still find one around.
IIRC it's in 1/144. These a/c were just incredible - and probably not as useful as they were impressive...
Joe, it's considered a "boat", not really meant to "soar". Still very impressive to watch in "flight" on film, nice job on the build.
