Arma Hobby Yak-1B 1/72
Hallo to everyone, I'm a lazy modeler. If I work on a hard project for a long time (many changes, conversions in new models...), then I need a break.
Normally I work on a simple kit (often an aircraft) without changes. I open the box, I build the kit, colors, decals, just a little bit weathering and stop. I see a model finished... finally and relax, ready for hard project.
Well, this time I choose a model from Arma Hobby, a polish brand. I was amazed about the kit, I didn't know it.
Each plastic part has a very fine detail, every joint is precise.
The box contains photo etched parts and decals for six different model.
The model is build completely with the parts of the box only, no changes.
I'm not satisfied too much for the weathering, but I had fun.
Nicely done!
Thanks Robert
Not bad at all ! I wish I could do such a nice job !
I build In a similar ways too. I try to build right out of the box. In my case figuring out how to handle a particular model presents its own difficulties and solutions .Or how far I can take it and make it look good w.o. Making or breaking too many parts!
Hallo Bernard, the only way is to try, try, broke some parts, recover some parts, and try again. Our success must be our satisfaction.
Nicely done Paolo.
Thanks Allan.
A fine looking Yak, Paolo.
Thank you John.
🙂 ... Greetings ... 🙂 :
A very enjoyable Yak too see Paolo, looks good.
You say you had fun building this model, that is the major goal in this hobby.
Keep on building ... 🙂 .
Yes, sometimes we looking for the perfection, the realism, "that color is not exactly that FS number...".
Modeling is fun!
Nice Yak, Paolo!
Bring on more!
Thanks, but I always have less time then I would like to have...
Good to see some Russian planes around here!
I agree, there many interesting Russian planes!
Nice looking little Yak, and the weathering looks very nice for the scale. Well done.
Thank Greg, but I'm not satisfied so much... but not so bad considering the few hours spent for the model.
