1/48 Kitty Hawk AH-1Z “Viper”
This commission build is the 1/48 Kitty Hawk AH-1Z “Viper” attack helicopter. This build is for a Marine Veteran who worked on these interesting helicopters. For this build added the Eduard interior and exterior photo etch sets, the Model Master M197 (20mm) brass barrels, and the Flying Leathernecks TSS Turret. The scheme will be aircraft 47 from the HMLA-267 Stingers.

I got to see a few of these on the apron when flying out of Pensacola once (pre-pandemic) from my airliner window. I was really interested in getting the kit, but had to hold off when I had the chance. Now that KittyHawk is no more, we can always hope for a second hand sale, or someone else to pick up the molds I guess.
