42 - 1/48 HobbyBoss US M4A3 (76)W Tank
This was my first tank build and I really enjoyed it - a nice scale to start with and a very nice kit with a lot of fun building and detail.
I added some stowage to make it look in service and created my own tarp using tissues and watered down cold glue.
The weathering was also a lot of fun to do.
I had a really fun time on this very well made kit.

A wonderful build, Anthony @anthonyricco
Hard to believe this is just your first tank build.
Beautiful details and excellent paint work.
Thanks so much @johnb - team my first one but got lots of advice from people who knew what they were doing.
Excellent build, Anthony.
Thanks so much Rafi.
A very nicely done Sherman, Anthony.
Thanks George
Nicely done, Anthony. I like the Woodstock version as well...lol
Thanks Gary @gwskat - yeah my psychedelic tank haha. made for some interesting weathering.
That is a wonderful first armor model, Anthony @anthonyricco! 🤩 I really like how that turned out; aren't tanks fun to build?!? 👍 I always feel more relaxed when building armor models. Your first is a great "jumping off" point! 😁
Thanks Gary - I never thought I'd enjoy armour but it was really fun, nice do do something different for a change. There are definitely more coming.
@anthonyricco - Fantastic work Anthony. I really like all the custom add-ons!
Thanks a lot Brian @brithebuilder, year the add ons are for me what gives it its uniqueness.
Absolutely... did you model them yourself as well?
The tarp I made myself from tissue paper and white glue and some string, the other bits of stowage were from different kits.
Amazing result, Anthony! Hard to believe it is your first tank!
Thanks so much Spiros, yes first one, definitely not the last.
Nicely done! 1/48th scale is great size.
Thanks Robert @roofrat, yes I definitely enjoyed the scale - was a nice place to start I think.
You're a bonafide tanker now, Anthony! Looks real good with the type behind it. Very professional!
Thanks Eric @eb801 - haha - I feel the need for more. thanks so much for the compliments.
