Tom Daniel’s Li’l Red Baron RePop

November 7, 2024 · in Automotive · · 12 · 114

When I was a kid the kits put out by were not my cup of tea, although I did think they were interesting. Today I find them more appealing and decided to try the small version of the roadster, “Li'l Red Baron.”

This kit is a snap-together model redone by Atlantis and the fit is quite good. I used glue, never-the-less, for most of the model. It is also molded in color so younger modelers can build it pretty quickly with a nice finish. I chose to paint it. This one was fun to do and I like the look of it. I can see another one or two of these joining my collection. Rommel's Rod comes to mind….

That brings back memories for me! As a kid in the ‘70s, my favourite Hot Wheels car was The Red Baron, it was a great jumper car!

All in favor of doing things outside the norm 👍

  5. Great work Scott. Nice to see an unusual subject that brings back memories. It really captures the look of those Daniels kits.
