Dragon 1/35 SU-85M Rebuilt and finished for a friend

This kit was given to me to re-build as I saw fit and finish better than the owner felt he was capable. I think it came out fairly well, considering it only took three weeks. I removed all of the road wheels and tracks to facilitate painting and weathering, added some photo-etch and generally had fun with the paint and finish. Colour is MM enamel Russian Green lightened with some yellow for highlights. Dark Earth is the colour for the underside and the running gear, with a light dusting overall, and some splatters for effect. Markings applied over a Future Gloss coat, sealed with same, then AK Interactive washes applied, followed by a seal coat of Dul-Cote. It was attached to a base and returned to a very happy Ukrainian friend and co-worker.
