1/72 Revell Hurricane II – the very beginning
Hello All, Just to say how much I have enjoyed the work posted on the site over the months and being part of the community.
After 35 years away from the hobby I picked this kit up at East Kent Models in Whitstable while on holiday, It was completed about 18 months ago using the acrylic pain,t and brush that came with the kit.
I was wondering what to put up as a first post - in the end the answer was simple - my first kit back!
I can follow this up with other builds recording my progress.
Many thanks to you all for all your great work!
See you again soon - Dave
Welcome to the asylum, David! Looks like you got a great start in your return to the hobby.
Is that the old Revell kit or one of the newer issues?
Thanks Jaime, I think it was a rebox of the late nineties kit
An excellent "new beginning", David...don't be a stranger. ya hear?
Thank Craig ! might need your help with a certain Phantom build I've got coming up!
Welcome sir, I'm fairly new to the site myself ,it's so user friendly .Good looking build .I need to do a Hurricane.
Thanks Robert, I find the tech side can get a bit tricky so it was great to find that side of things so straightforward!
Your Hurricane looks great, Dave, it's a great hobby and iModeler is a great site as well, I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself here.
Thanks George - I think I will - cheers!
Welcome! I like the cannon armed Hurricane from the North African campaign. You did a good job on this one. Well done
Thanks Morne am looking forward to posting a few more
The Hurricane makes a nice entrance back into the hobby - well done! Glad to have you back in the fold. Nothing like a little glue and paint fumes to relax after a day at the office!
