Avia S-199 (KP, 1/72)
Avia S-199 is one of the last produced post-war Me 109's variations and was the first fighter obtained by the IAF, forming Israel's first fighter squadron. First Israeli's aerial victory was also scored by S-199. So, I wanted this "Sakin" to land on my stash for a very long time, so first I've got AML kit, then I've bought some aftermarket parts and then KP released its new S-199 line in 1/72 scale. So, I've started WIP thread on iModeler – http://imodeler.com/groups/work-in-progress-aircraft/forum/topic/172-kpaml-avia-s-199-in-iaf-service The new KP kit is great, but I wanted to add to it as much details as I can.
This model is a mix of a new KP with AML (PE and resin) and scratch parts (more information in WIP thread). Base color – Hataka (Poland) authentic acrylics. Weathered with oils and pigments.

Dmitry, this is really nice. one of the best 1/72 scale S-199 (or a bf 109) I've seen. Can't believe its 1/72 scale.

@dmitry thank you! It was hard to make photos of something inside such a small cockpit, so yes, I've made it too sharp and noisy during processing to present details inside.
Love it! I think I have an older KP version of this in the stash, and want to also build the Israeli version. Thanks for the reference material! Really like the shading/weathering you did.
