Hawker Hunter F 58, J4030, Patrouille Suisse, Swiss Air Force Dubendorf Air Base 1982.
1/72 Revell, almost OOB, I replaced ejection handles with copper wire, removed molded instrument detail, added intake covers and have canopy open as it doesn't fit properly closed, finished in Humbrol and MM enamels with Future and Xtra flat over kit decals altered to change the time of operation.
Nice result, Allan...what's with the piece of wood? Did you use it to assist in the painting of the demarcation line or what? I like how it turned out.
Thanks Craig, just a strip of balsa I use as a handle, nothing much else to hold on to.
Another great build Allan. I love the fact you look for unusual schemes/countries for your finishes.
Thanks Greg, even when I use kit decals I like to change it a little if I can.
Allan, always have loved the Hunter, just a beautiful airplane. Not so usual markings, and I well remember a shot of one going vertical through some of the Alps.
Thanks Bernard, I have a few more to do.
Cracking Hunter, mate. Flawless and perfect, like the real thing !
Thank you Bernd.
I like all of the little details. that's what makes this one stand out in the crowd. The air intake covers are icing on the cake...
Very good Sir !
Thanks Louis, the covers are to hide the less than perfect intakes !
Great job sir! Nice aircraft.
Thanks Robert.
A classic aircraft, and it looks fine in these Swiss markings.
Thanks George.
Hello Allan,
Well done. Famous aircraft and stil kicking around in the sky today.

Hi Allan. Really nice job. This seems to be a really lovely kit, with such fine detail; I (almost) thought you had jumped to 1/32 when I saw the box! Nice choice of markings too.
Thanks Tony, good to hear from you, not a bad kit, I have a few more to do !
