I have to compliment Airfix on a beautifully engineered little kit.
It's been thought out and fits like a dream.
The undercarriage have big chunky attachment points that allow a solid fit but are hidden away.

This really is a beautifully detailed little kit.
It goes together rather well even is these ham-fisted hands.
The kit itself is a complete what-if as there was only one D-15 which was destroyed and never carried a torpedo.
I decided for a [...]
A build I've wanted to get round to for a while.
The Beaufighter Squadrons were based at RAF Dallachy fairly close to the River Spey.
I decided early on that I wouldn't be doing a Black Friday Beau so this is my attempt at RD3549 of 489 [...]
This is a kit that is a joy to build, yes, even the canopy.
I wanted to do it as a Mk.1a and chose a scheme from 217 Squadron, RAF Luqa in 1942.

A nice, if tricky little kit.
The tolerances are very tight and not being too precise with the placement of some of the early parts makes it a little harder further down the line.
In saying that it goes together well and builds up [...]
A straight out of the box build except for Tape Belts and the serials and roundels were masked and painted as Trumpeter had them a tad on the fictitious side.
Primed with Tamiya Neutral Grey.
Painted with Colourcoats Extra Dark Sea Grey, [...]
Yet another fantastic kit from Arma Hobby.
It comes with some beautiful 3D printed parts that require some surgery to build the kit.
If I can do it then I would hazard that anyone can.
Primed with Tamiya Neutral Grey.

A kit that gave me no issues at all. Any problems along the way were caused purely by me.
The fit was fantastic and only required the smallest amount of filler.
