I’m a stay at home Mom with a love for airplanes. I build mostly model aircraft in my spare time. I started building about 3 years ago. My set up is in the corner of my bedroom, with a homemade spray booth. I’ve slowly improved my skills over the years with the help of a few forums and facebook groups. My favorite plane is Whiskey 7 a C-47 Skytrain owned and operated by the National Warplane Museum in Geneseo NY. I love going to airshows and taking pictures of the planes in flight. Can’t wait for that time of year again!
This kit fought me pretty much all the way through. Fit wasn't that great, so there was a lot of putty, sand, prime, repeat. The decals looked great, but turned out to be a very stressful part of the build. The glue was thick and opaque, but [...]
I finished Mini W7 #1 roughly a year ago, and since then I've started volunteering at the museum that owns the real Whiskey 7. I donated Mini W7 #1 to the museum and she resides in their gift shop. So I had to build myself a Mini W7 #2. Just [...]

I'm not going to lie, I've attempted this kit several times in the past few years, and have failed miserably. I have two kits with the failed attempts under my bed. The kit has some serious fit issues. It took patience, a lot of dry fitting, [...]
Here is my build of Tamiya's F-16 Thunderbird. Kit went together beautifully as one would expect from Tamiya. The challenge with this one was the white paint, and the decals. Painting white, and trying to keep it clean was quite the pain. Th[...]
Another old Monogram build, the Phantastic Phantom. This was a straight out of the box build, aside from some aftermarket decals. Paints used were all Model Master enamels, aside from the white, that is Tamiya acrylic. The Phantom is one of m[...]
Built from the old Monogram 1/48 C-47 Skytrain kit as "Mini Whiskey 7" The real "Whiskey 7" is a D-Day surviving aircraft owned and operated by the National Warplane Museum in Geneseo NY. I was fortunate enough to be able to take a flight on "[...]
